It was fun, and I love these kind of maps, but a few of them are a little hard because of chest issues (see mistakes).

Originality:8/10
definitely not the first of its kind, but the ways to die theme is a first for me

Mechanics: ?/10

hasn't realy had to use and red stone, half slabs, ect...

The chests in the ceiling was hard I missed most of them the first time, died, and only found them on the 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th time through

 

over all: 9/10
fun, and if people are notified of them or they are moved it would be more of a figrue it out rather then a did you find the stuff? ok now can you figure it out?

Fun but hard, little repetitive after an hour or two mining cobble...

Its an old map, but at the time it came out it was the first of its kind...

not up dated very much, some parts of the map rely on bugs that have been updated...

like I said about the mechanics where that bugs have been patched and broken the map, but other then that it's awesome

RockTree Island

the map was Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo big. I had a really fun time exploring it.

Originality: 7/10
I've seen this type of island with a shack type of thing before, and the trees I've defiantly seen similar before, but the cabin was out of the box, and so was the snow caped mountain.

Mechanics: N/A

I don't know how to judge the relevance of mechanics on a map like this, guess its got upside down stairs and half slabs

some of the leaves had decayed and despawned by the look of it. and the cabin roof was outrageous. It must have looked good with the texture pack, but bright pink and lime green... just no. I wish they would say what pack they used, and if it was custom, release it with the map.

Over all: 9/10 Its a nice map, and would be perfect for a survival world...

Trials Escape

Would have been higher but It was too hard. I honestly thing some of the parkour is impossible...

Not a lot of story, but what there is isn't that original

Mechanics:6/10
used dyed leather armor and books, those are within the last few updates. no command blocks though...

saw red stone once, I think with the parkour the was a mistake with placing 2 half slabs instead of one...

over all:8/10
it was a nicely done map, but I think the makers need to do some tweaking...

The map was funny, and fun. I probably ran trough it 5 times and I cracked up a little each time. defiantly entertaining.

Mechanics:8/10
been updated to keep working, but not much else, but the red stone is amazing though and defiantly used a lot of the mechanics at the time.
Ease of Install: 9/10
drag and drop in the saves folder, only thing to make it easier would be an auto installer.
Mistakes: 7/10
could see some wiring, and access points in to the internals. is possible to not fall to death when pit trap is active, also have glitched out the door so I got stuck once.

over all 8.5/10

This is my first post, and I thought I would start by saying how I plan to judge/rate these maps

I will judge these categories on the following standards. Entertainment, Does it do what it was purposed for, if it was a speed build, or model, Does it look good? If its an adventure map, was it fun? Was it too hard or too easy? Originality, does it look like another build I have seen, or is it the first of its kind? Is the plot of an adventure map the same as another I’ve seen? Mechanics, are the mechanics up to date? If the maps been around for a while, has it broken, or has it been updated? ease of install, does it just install with one file? does it require additional mods or texture packs, and if they do do they work? does it have an auto installer, and if so is it easy to use? Mistakes, are there any noticeable spelling mistakes, are there any glitches or loopholes that make it impossible to succeed, or give you unfair advantages? are there any problems with any of the previous categories, are there any bugs that make the map impossible to complete?

On top of this, I will give it an overall grade (1-10) based on how I liked it, and how it performed on the categories.
